Shorena Chumburidze is a Candidate of Sciences in Medicine (2003 year). Currently, she is the head of the Cardio-Therapeutic Service at Saint Lazare Clinic. Since 2010, Ms. Chumburidze is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the American Academy of Cardiology. Starting from 2008, she is also a special representative of American Therapists College and an accreditation expert at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement. Since 1996, Ms. Chumburidze serves as a Secretary General of the Internist's Society. In 2011-2013, she was the head of scientific clinic’s intensive cardio- therapeutic service. Throughout 2003-2011, she also leads the residency program at the National Center of Therapy. In 2005-2010, Ms. Chumburidze worked as a leading cardiologist and scientist at the National Center of Therapy, Department of Cardiomyopathy and Ischemic Heart diseases. She is a participant and head of many international and local scientific grants.
